Module Errata and Data Sheet Clarification
The RN2483 module that you have received conforms
functionally to the current Device Data Sheet
(DS50002346B) and the “RN2483 LoRa® Technology
Module Command Reference User’s Guide”
(DS40001784E), except for the anomalies described in
this document.
The module firmware version can be identified by
issuing a System Get Version command
(sys get ver).
For more information, refer to the “RN2483 LoRa®
Technology Module Command Reference User's
Guide” (DS40001784).
The module firmware issues are summarized in
Table 1.
The errata described in this document will be addressed
in future revisions of the RN2483 module.

1. Issue:
Data Sheet Clarifications
There are no typographic corrections and clarifications
to be noted for the latest version of the Device Data
Sheet (DS50002346B).
Sleep current out of
specification
Sleep mode current may draw 100-150 µA.
Work around
There is no work around for this issue. This
issue will be addressed in a future firmware
revision.

GPIO pins default to ground
Upon intial power on of the module, the GPIO
pins default to ground. Depending on the use of
the GPIO pin, this may cause concern with connections to the GPIO pin that can cause a short
to ground until the GPIO pin has been configured by the user.
Work around
Place a current limiting resister in series with the
GPIO connection. This issue will be addressed
in a future firmware revision.
