Description
The Model 750E is a cam-characterized, double acting
electronic valve positioner that uses a standard 4-20 mA
electronic input signal. It then converts this signal to a
pneumatic output to position a control valve actuator. The Model
750E provides precise, controlled positioning for single or
double acting actuators. The 750E’s rugged shock and
vibration resistant construction also ensures accuracy within
harsh industrial environments. Moreover, Cam profiles and
feedback input shafts allow the Model 750E to be used in a variety
of applications where reliable electronic control is required.

Input Range
The Model 750E uses a high-gain, piloted spool valve to load the
actuator for positioning in response to electronic input signals.
A characterized cam provides mechanical feedback. Cam
profiles are available for linear, equal percentage, or quick
opening position. A blank profile cam is also available for custom
applications. Feedback input shafts are available for rectilinear or
rotary action. Rectilinear action can range from 1/2" to 6" in length.
All electronic components are securely sealed in an airtight,
explosion-proof housing; however, zero and span adjustments are
easily accessible for simple calibration and maintenance.

Input Impedance: 150 ohms
Its versatile design and quality construction allow the Model
750E to be used with a variety of actuators. The feedback
input shaft and the characterized cam can also be easily
replaced in the field to convert the Model 750E from
rectilinear or rotary motion. No additional parts or equipment
are necessary to change between single or double acting
actuators or direct/reverse action. Moreover, the 750E’s
mounting is identical to that of the Model 750P Pneumatic
Valve Positioner, allowing these instruments to be interchanged
with a minimum of tubing changes.
