Multi-Channel Boards
Sensitron’s Multi-Channel Solid State Power Controllers (SSPC) are programmable, microcontroller based,
Solid State Power Controller products designed to be used in 28V DC Power Management applications.
Each independent channel can be programmed to support variable loads, and can be programmed to
operate in parallel with other channels in order to act as a single channel with combined current
capabilities. These products feature integrated current, temperature, and voltage sensing, with a serial
communications interface which allows a system controller to command channels on and off, as well as
monitor measured parameters and status.

Bi-Directional Constant Current Source Controller
The Bi-Directional Surge Limiter (BDSL) is a bi-directional solid state switch designed to be used in 28V
DC power management applications with very large capacitive loads. The BDSL acts as a switch that
will limit current if the programmed current limit level is exceeded. This unit offers both discrete and
CAN bus control interfaces.

Smart Power Mangement Unit
The SPMU is a COTS multi-channel 28VDC power controller capable of intelligent power management
and diagnostics. This unit provides Solid State Power Control (SSPC) capabilities and a variety of IO, in a
small form factor. The SPMU provides power to up to 32 electrical loads, with each channel providing
software-programmable current ratings. This feature allows the user or system integrator the flexibility
to use pre-programmed operational profiles in addition to real-time commands, ensuring safe and
