MSM9169 V3.X AP 燒錄器使用手冊
(1 to 1 Writer)
1.前言：
MSM9169 燒錄器，可燒錄/複製新茂科技的全系列產品（包含 pure Flash
and embedded flash MCU SM79xx,SM89xx and SM59xx IC）。
2.燒錄方式：
2.1 MSM9169 燒錄器工作方式有兩種:
2.1.1 On line programming:利用 PC 與 MSM9169 連線，將所要燒錄的
code 燒錄到 Target IC 內。
2.1.2 Off line programming:利用 MSM9169 燒錄視窗上之 Send button
將所要燒錄的 code send 至 SM59264，再按下 AUTO button 即可在與
PC 離線狀態下做燒錄的功能，但燒錄檔案不可大於 64k。

3. 燒錄 IC 所需元件：
3.1 MSM9169 燒錄板。
3.2 Window95/98/2000/XP 視窗作業環境。
3.3 DB-9 pin cable (for serial port) 或 USB To Com Port 轉接線(for USB )。
3.4 燒錄模式驅動程式。
3.5 單一供應電源+12VDC 電源 adapter(內為”+”,外為”-”)。
4. 燒錄前檢查：
4.1 將燒錄模式驅動程式裝置在 Window95/98/2000/XP 視窗作業環境檔案夾
中再執行 setup 應用程式，即可將燒錄模式驅動程式裝好。
4.2 將 DB-9 pin cable 一端接在 PC serial port 端，另一端接在 MSM9169 燒
錄板的 serial port 端。
4.3 將 DC power adapter(12V)插入 MSM9169 燒錄板的 DC Power Jack (J2)
上。請注意 power adapter 接 MSM 9169 燒錄板的電源端子是內為 DC 正
極，外為 DC 負極。此時 MSM9169 上的”Power LED”會增亮。
4.4 當 MSM9169 板上的 “Power LED”亮著，則表示 MSM9169 有電源，即
可進行 IC 的燒錄工作。

6.工作列名詞解釋：
6.1
Load:載入您所要燒錄的檔案。
6.2
Save：儲存 Buffer 裡面的資料。
6.3
Edit：顯示出從 Buffer 讀出來的資料。
6.4
IC：選擇所要燒錄的 IC 型號。
6.5
AUTO：自動執行所選擇之功能。
6.6
Erase：當點按 ERASE 時，MSM9169 只做清除 Target IC
資料內容的動作。
6.7
Program：當點按 PROGRAM 時,燒錄驅動程式會將 PC data
buffer 中的資料燒錄在 Target IC 裡。
6.8
BLANK CHECK：當點按 BLANK CHECK 時，MSM9169
只做檢查 Target IC 是否已有資料內容，不做其他動作。
6.9
VERIFY：確認 Target IC 的中的資料內容與 data buffer 的
資料內容是否相同。
6.10
Security：將 Target IC 的資料，加密保護，使其無法用”Read”
讀出正確的 Code。
6.11
Configure：在 SM59XX 中用來設定 ISP 程式大小，在 Program
做完後會接著執行 Configure 功能。
6.12
Send：將所要燒錄的資料寫至 SM5964 (做 off-line 燒錄前需
執行 ”Send”功能)。

Read：將已燒錄的資料從 Target IC 中讀出。
7. 連結(Connect)：
7.1 執行 MSM9169_V3.X 會自動檢查是否連線與版別，若連線成功則出現
(Connect Success MSM9169 V3.X)文字方塊。

8.重新選擇連接之 Com Port：
8.1 若是連線失敗，在硬體與韌體皆正常的情況下，有可能是您與電腦連接
通訊有問題，此時您可能要檢查是否選對連接 PORT，預設值為 COM1，
若要從新選擇其他之 Com Port 則如下所示：
8.2 在 Setting 選單中選擇 Port Sel,選擇您所要之 Com Port。

9.使用 USB 轉 Com PORT：
9.1 若使用 USB 轉 Com Port，可由 “控制台\系統\硬體\裝置管置理員”得知
USB Serial Port 為何，再重新選擇 Com Port 即可。

11.載入欲燒錄檔案:
11.1 於選單 File\Open(Load):開啟檔案並且載入 Buffer 中：
11.2 若更換 IC 型號時，請從新載入檔案。

12.編輯 Auto 欲執行的功能：
您可由 AUTO 選擇您所想要執行的功能，其選擇步驟如下：
12.1 於 Setting 選單中選擇 Edit Auto。
12.2 此時會出現 Auto Selection 對話方塊，這時可勾選您想要執行的項目，勾
選完成請按確認鍵。
12.3 此時在 operation 畫面中則會出現您剛剛所選擇的項目。
12.4 按工作列上 AUTO 圖塊，則會依照您剛剛選擇的項目依序執行。

13.Configure 設定：在 SM59XX 中用來設定 ISP 程式大小，其設定方式如下：
13.1 於工作列上點選 Conf.圖塊 。
13.2 並選擇您要設定 Config 大小的值即可。

14. 燒錄狀態顯示：
14.1 燒錄成功時：
當按下 AUTO 鍵時，會依照您所選擇所要執行的項目依序執行，當單一
步驟若執行完畢且燒錄成功會以綠色字顯示 PASS，且 MSM9169 燒錄
器主板上會顯示綠色燈號，蜂鳴器會嗶一短音。
14.2 燒錄失敗時：
但單一步驟若是燒錄失敗則會以紅色字顯示 FAIL，而且 MSM9169 燒錄
器主板上會顯示紅色燈號，蜂鳴器會嗶一長音。
14.3 燒錄時間顯示：
當按下 AUTO 圖塊時，AUTO RUN START 顯示開始燒錄時間，AUTO
RUN END 顯示燒錄完畢結束時間（若是單步執行時則不會顯示燒錄時
間）。

15.Send：(要做離線燒錄(off-line)
For SyncMOS e-MCU Used
燒錄前需執行 ”Send”功能)
MSM9169 可以做離線燒錄的功能，此時您不需要連接電腦，就可做燒錄動作。
15.1 在您選要所要燒錄的 IC 型號與檔案之後，在工作列上按下 send 圖塊。
15.2 此時電腦會將您載入的檔案下載到 SM59264，下載當中 MSM9169 燒錄
器主板上的 busy 燈(黃色燈)會亮著，下載完畢即顯示綠色燈號 Good 並
畫面會以綠色字顯示 Transmit Data to MCU => PASS，此時 BUSY 燈號
即熄滅。
15.3 按下 MSM9169 燒錄器主板上的 AUTO 鍵即可離線燒錄。

16. Read ：讀取 Target IC 資料
16.1 首先按 Read 圖塊將已燒錄的資料從 Target IC 中讀出來。
16.2 再按 Edit 即可顯示出資料。
16.3 若是 Target IC 在燒錄時有 Protect 則讀出來的資料會是 00。

17.Update:更新燒錄時序：
MSM9169 V20 可以直接更新燒錄器上 SM59264 的燒錄時序，而不用在將 IC 拿至
燒錄器上燒錄，以免除更新燒錄時序上的麻煩，其更新方法如下：
17.1 在 TOOL 選單中,選擇 Update(ISP)。
17.2 此時會出先一個對話方塊提醒您選擇要更新的檔案,按確定即可。
17.3 選擇您要更新的檔案後按開啟即完成更新動作。

18.注意事項:
18.1 MSM9169 燒錄板上的電子元件不可隨意更動，以免造成燒錄板損壞。
18.2 若在 IC 燒錄的過程中,發生視窗之燒錄的程序停止不動時,請關閉整個燒
錄作業視窗，按 MSM9169 燒錄器主板 Reset 鍵，並重新開啟燒錄視窗。
18.3 將要燒錄之 IC 放在燒錄器上時需注意放置 IC 的腳位是否正確，以免造
成 IC 損壞。
18.4 若燒錄成功則在 MSM9169 操作視窗中會出現綠色的 PASS 且會(嗶一短
音)，此時 GOOD LED 會亮，若燒錄失敗在 MSM9169 操作視窗中會出
現紅色的 FAIL(嗶一長音)，此時 FAIL LE 會亮。
18.5 目前尚還無法使 USB 轉 Com Port 進行”Read”Function。
18.6 目前尚無法對 Buffer 進行編輯，只能儲存成新的“.BIN”檔。
18.7 當更換新的 IC 型號時，請重新載入您要燒錄的檔案。
18.8 要更新新版的燒錄程式時，若您之前已經有安裝舊版的燒錄程式，需先
將舊版的燒錄程式移除掉，再安裝新的燒錄程式以完成更新動作。
