Secure Power Always ATS 16H - ATS 16L ATS leaflet Secure Power Always ATS 16H - 16L There are two versions available: ATS 16H is the high voltage (230 V) unit and ATS 16L is the low voltage (120 V) unit. ATS ensures complete reliability to the load by eliminating system failures which are caused by problems in distribution rather than by the failure of the power source itself. Double-pole operations ensure optimal flexibility for all the different types of electrical distributions. Flexibility for Customized Solutions ATS guarantees uninterrupted operation for the load that is fed by two alternative sources. The ATS is a simple but extremely effective solution for managing the redundancy that is provided by two independent power sources. Reliability Employing an ATS adds another layer of security for your load. It ensures a redundant power supply by enabling controlled switching between the two independent AC power supply sources. ATS is a very effective solution that allows complete compatibility with the customers’ load and environment requirements. A standard feature is the priority mode operation, allowing users to select the preferred power source. ATS handles the automatic or manual transfer of loads between two independent power sources without interrupting the power supply. In the event of a failure the transfer from one source to the other is automatic and instantaneous. Switching is performed whenever the line that supplies power to the load goes out of tolerance. The distribution downstream from an ATS is not only protected against the failure of the sources, but also against any failure in upstream lines. Leading Technology A crucial function of ATS is the “Break Before Make” transfer. This ensures that the two live feeds are never connected in parallel. The ATS automatic switch also ensures that switching between the two power supplies occurs safely under both synchronous and asynchronous conditions relative to input waveforms. Communication Voltage free contact ports are available in standard assembly versions and facilitate communication with installed power protection equipment. The LED display offers complete and easy interaction with ATS and shows the status of the equipment. A serial connection is available for easy and direct connection of the ATS with an external PC.
