Parallel ready UPS
The 80-NETMPR is parallel ready and can
be connected in up to 8 units in parallel
without the need for an additional parallel
kit, allowing maximum reliability and
flexibility. A single unit can be upgraded
to a parallel one through a software
licence code which is univocally related to
the UPS, allowing Chloride to customize
and adapt the total power solution.
As a result of a Loop Bus connection,
used to connect all parallel UPS,
communication between the UPS has
no single point of failure.

friendly, for easy installation, control and operation of data centre applications
and in a wide range of sectors, including finance, manufacturing and retail.
Chloride employs patented Vector Control technology (95 P3875, 95 P3879 and 96 P3198) to increase the performance
of the power converters, enabling active conditioning of the load and to provide the following benefits:
• Optimal trade-off between harmonic
rejection and efficiency
• Enhanced performance for specific
unbalanced load conditions
• Perfect load sharing between parallel
connected UPS systems (less than
5% tolerance of any system output
load fraction from 0 to 100%)
• Enhanced fault clearing capacity (with
300% of the inverter nominal current
for 10ms and 150% up to 5s) for
downstream short circuits
• Considerable cost savings throughout
its service life through easy installation
times and reduced servicing.

optimum efficiency values, allowing
energy savings and reducing the need
for air conditioning. It has excellent
efficiency in every working condition,
even at partial loads that are the most
common working conditions, providing
great benefits for the customers.
The new 80-NETMPR is designed for easy
installation and serviceability thanks to the
drawer-design, making it a full modular
service solution and considerably
minimizing the time needed for repairs.
All power modules can be removed by
extracting the drawers from the front of
machine.

Each UPS will be equipped with an ID card,
including all UPS working parameters. This
card, univocally related to the UPS, shortens
UPS “off time” in the case where the control
board needs to be replaced.

Using advanced battery care (ABC), the
80-NETMPR series will increase battery
life by up to 50% and includes the
following main battery care features:
• Ambient temperature compensated
battery charger
• Automatic battery test (can be set by
user at selectable intervals)
• Time compensated end of discharge
voltage
• Exact determination of remaining
battery life thanks to sophisticated
algorithms able to analyze real operating
conditions such as temperature,
discharge and charging cycles and
discharge depth.

80-NETMPR like other Chloride three-phase UPS, features a standard 15 language graphic
LCD display, allowing easy interaction with the UPS through the navigation menu design.
In addition, the LCD display, complete with a combination key lock function, provides
excellent security.
The UPS is perfectly suitable for use in any building management system and offers
the following standard communication features:
• Voltage-free contact ports
• Digital inputs
• Two serial ports
Hardware Connectivity
ManageUPSNET includes a complete package, ensuring the monitoring and control of
the networked UPS, through the TCP/IP protocol.
It permits:
• UPS monitoring from NMS via SNMP
• UPS monitoring from PC via a Web
browser
• Dispatch of e-mail notifications
Software Connectivity
• Two internal slots (for LIFE.net card
modem, ManageUPSNET cards, or others
adaptors).
• Possibility of integrating CHLORIDE UPS
systems with Building Monitoring and
Automation Systems via MODBUS RTU,

• Monitoring of environmental conditions
where the UPS systems are installed.

The main function of MopUPS software
will be the safe shutdown of the
operating system in the event of an
interruption to the load.
MopUPS can also provide event logging

network environment.
LIFE.net remote diagnostic system compatible
The 80-NETMPR family is fully compatible with LIFE.net, Chloride’s real-time UPS remote
diagnostic tool. This service provides:

• Automatic transmission of a daily status report
• Real-time diagnosis of all UPS operational parameters
• A remote fix capability
• Monthly UPS operational status report
