Description: V•I Chip products are multi-component assemblies using surface mount control IC, FETs, diodes, etc. The original process used an underfill material prior to over-molding. As part of our continuous improvement efforts, development work was undertaken to develop a process which uses the over-mold material in place of the previous under-fill material. The qualification report is available upon request.
