Additional product information
_ Installation by qualified electrician only.
_ Usable with SELV and DC (up to 120 V) control gears without additional insulation.
_ The LED engine needs to be built into a luminaire.
_ Not suitable for operation with line voltage.
_ In order to operate OSRAM LED modules safely, it is absolutely necessary to operate them with an electronically stabilized
power supply that protects against short circuits, overload and overheating.
_ In case other power supplies than OSRAM OPTOTRONIC are used, compliance to the neccessary operating parameters
(voltage, current, power) has to be ensured.
_ Pay attention to polarity! Wrong polarity can cause destruction or malfunction of the module.
_ Conducting paths on the circuit board must not be damaged or destroyed during installation.
_ Suitable for luminaires of protection class I, grounding is mandatory to comply with safety standards.
_ The LED module itself and all its components must not be stressed mechanically.
_ For optimal cooling a thermal interface material should be applied between LED module and heat sink.
_ The LED module should be mounted to a heat sink with M3 screws or suitable accessories. Maximum tightening torque for
mounting screws need to be observed as excessive force may damage the housing.
_ Protect against splashes!
_ The module, as manufactured, has no inherent protection against corrosion. It is the user's responsibility to provide suitable
protection against corrosive agents, such as moisture, condensation and other harmful elements.
