65250A Rev. 8/20/13
How to Use the 65250A
►►Connect the 65250A to a compatible Measurement Specialties
IMS. The green LED on the 65250A converter will be lit if the
IMS is on and connected. The RS-232 connector on the 65250A
converter can optionally be connected to a computer serial port.
►►When the LED is off, toggling and holding the switch towards
the LED until the LED flashes (or waiting two seconds) will turn
the IMS on. After releasing the switch, the LED will remain on.
►►When the LED is on, toggling and holding the switch towards
the LED until the LED flashes (or waiting four seconds) will turn
the IMS off. The LED flashes until the switch is released, then
turns off.
►►Toggling the switch away from the LED while the IMS is on will
cause a low on the AUX line. In addition to turning the LED off
while the switch is held in this position, the IMS will perform its
AUX low function, such as SelfTest or RCAL.
►►An IMS’s battery pack can be charged by connecting a compatible
battery charger to the 65250A Charger Connector and following
the battery charger’s instructions.
WARNING
Use of incorrect charger can permanently damage
an IMS and may cause the battery to explode.
