During the warranty period, Measurement Specialties will, at its option, either repair or replace products which prove to be defective. The green LED on the 65250A converter will be lit if the IMS is on and connected. The RS-232 connector on the 65250A converter can optionally be connected to a computer serial port. ►►When the LED is off, toggling and holding the switch towards the LED until the LED flashes (or waiting two seconds) will turn the IMS on. After releasing the switch, the LED will remain on. ►►When the LED is on, toggling and holding the switch towards the LED until the LED flashes (or waiting four seconds) will turn the IMS off. The LED flashes until the switch is released, then turns off. ►►Toggling the switch away from the LED while the IMS is on will cause a low on the AUX line. In addition to turning the LED off while the switch is held in this position, the IMS will perform its AUX low function, such as SelfTest or RCAL. ►►An IMS’s battery pack can be charged by connecting a compatible battery charger to the 65250A Charger Connector and following the battery charger’s instructions. WARNING Use of incorrect charger can permanently damage an IMS and may cause the battery to explode.
