Anode 1 2 high temperature/current/voltage and the significant change in 2. Cathode temperature, etc.) may cause this product to decrease in the reliability significantly even if the operating conditions (i.e. operating temperature/current/voltage, etc.) are within the absolute maximum ratings. Please design the appropriate reliability upon reviewing the Toshiba Semiconductor Reliability Handbook (“Handling Precautions”/“Derating Concept and Methods”) and individual reliability data (i.e. reliability test report and estimated failure rate, etc). Soldering must be performed under the lead stopper. 2. When forming the leads, bend each lead under the stopper without leaving forming stress to the body of the device. Soldering must be performed after the leads have been formed. 3. Radiant power falls over time due to the current which flows in the infrared LED. When designing a circuit, take into account this change in radiant power over time. 2 2007-10-01 TLN225(F) IF – Ta IF – VF 100 (mA) 85°C 80 Forward current IF Allowable forward current IF (mA) (typ.) 100 120 60 40 10 75°C -25°C 50°C 0°C 1 25°C 0.1 20 0 0 20 40 60 80 100 120 0.01 1 140 1.2 1.8 500 Pulse forward current IFP (mA) (V) Forward voltage VF 1000 IF = 80mA 1.6 IF = 50mA 1.5 IF = 20mA 1.4 IF = 5mA 1.3 1.2 1.1 -50 -25 0 25 50 75 100 (typ.) 50 30 10 Pulse width ≦ 100μs Repetitive frequency = 100Hz Ta = 25°C 5 3 3 2 1 Ta = 25°C 10000 7 VFP (V) Relative PO – IFP 1.2 6 5 4 Pulse Forward Voltage IFP – PW 20000 (typ.)
