DESCRIPTION
Module type FU-641SEA-1Mx is a 1.55µm EA
modulator integrated DFB-LD module with singlemode optical fiber.
This module is suitable to a light source for use in
10Gb/s digital optical communication systems.
FEATURES
l EA(Electro-absorbtion) modulator integrated
DFB-LD
l Input impedance is 50Ω.
l Emission wavelength is in 1.5 5µm band
l 7 Pin package with K connector(**)
l Built-in optical isolator
l Built-in thermal electric cooler
l With photodiode for optical output monitor
**:GPO connector is availiable.

Note) Even if the thermo-electric cooler (TEC) is operated within the rated conditions, uncontrolled current
loading or operation without heatsink may easily damage the module by exceeding the storage
temperature range. Thermistor resistance should be properly monitored by the feedback circuit during
TEC operation to avoid the catastrophic damage.
