The FS2312 is fabricated by 0.18um CMOS process and the core is running at 1.8V for power saving consideration. In FS2312, there is a powerful 32-bit RISC CPU with Enhanced Multiply-Accumulate (EMAC) dedicated for signal processing to work as the engine of audio encoding/decoding, storage management, file management and system task handling. The maximum system clock rate of FS2312 can be up to 120MHz. Due to the benefits from software decoding, the audio formats FS2312 can support not only MPEG Layer-3 but also all the popular formats in Internet.
