Introduction

Advanced clock management devices from ON Semiconductor deliver superior performance by providing the
lowest skew and lowest jitter with the highest operating frequencies.
This portfolio of products make designing any low skew, high frequency clock tree an easy task with a large range
of clock distribution, generation and skew management devices. We address the needs of todays systems
whether operating at 2.5 V, 3.3 V or legacy systems at 5 V or –5.2 V; and at operating frequencies to 10 GHz and
beyond.
Our clock distribution portfolio boasts fan-out drive capabilities
from 2 to 24, among the widest in the industry. Many of our
products can interface to any number of high performance
differential signaling standards: CML, HSTL, LVDS or
PECL/LVPECL, with many including signal translation so that a
clean differential PECL clock can be transmitted across the
back-plane and converted to CMOS/TTL levels for local
distribution on the target boards.
