Checkout
1. Loosen the thumbscrew and remove the old cover.
2. Disconnect the power supply. All Wiring must comply with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations. All
wiring to the programmer or primary control subbase must
be NEC Class 1.
3. Use moisture-resistant wire (Rated for 90°C or higher
required by Underwriters Laboratories Inc.) for normal installations.
4. A typical wiring schematic is shown in Fig. 5. Use a
momentary contact pushbutton switch to energize the remote reset solenoid. Add required disconnect means and
overload protection to power supply circuit, or use the
controller power supply terminals.
5. Mount the remote reset cover on the controller chassis
and tighten the screws.
The safety switch reset button under the solenoid can be
reset manually or remotely. Manually reset the safety switch
by pressing the end of the plunger on the solenoid.
The safety switch is reset remotely by pressing the
pushbutton switch in the solenoid circuit.
IMPORTANT: Care should be taken to assure the solenoid
plunger is not depressed or held in inadvertently
during operation of the flame safeguard control. Depressing safety switch acts the same as going out on
safety. A minimum 1/4 in. (6.4 mm) clearance must be
maintained above the solenoid plunger.
