MSM9169 Application Note September 2006 For SyncMOS e-MCU Used MSM9169 V3.X AP 编程器使用手册 (1 to 1 Writer) 1.前言： MSM9169 编程器，可烧录/复制新茂科技的全系列产品（包含 pure Flash and embedded flash MCU SM79xx,SM89xx and SM59xx IC）。 2.烧录方式： 2.1 MSM9169 编程器工作方式有两种: 2.1.1 On line programming:利用 PC 与 MSM9169 联机，将所要烧录的 code 烧录到 Target IC 内。 2.1.2 Off line programming:利用 MSM9169 烧录窗口上之 Send button 将所要烧录的 code send 至 SM59264，再按下 AUTO button 即可在与 PC 离线状态下做烧录的功能，但烧录档案不可大于 64k。 Specifications subject to change without notice, contact your sales representatives for the most recent information. 1 MSM9169 V7M1 06/09/19 SyncMOS Technologies International, Inc. MSM9169 Application Note September 2006 For SyncMOS e-MCU Used 3. 烧录 IC 所需组件： 3.1 MSM9169 烧录板。 3.2 Window95/98/2000/XP 窗口作业环境。 3.3 DB-9 pin cable (for serial port) 或 USB To Com Port 转接线(for USB )。 3.4 烧录模式驱动程序。 3.5 单一供应电源+12VDC 电源 adapter(内为”+”,外为”-”)。 4. 烧录前检查： 4.1 将烧录模式驱动程序装置在 Window95/98/2000/XP 窗口作业环境档案夹 中再执行 setup 应用程序，即可将烧录模式驱动程序装好。 4.2 将 DB-9 pin cable 一端接在 PC serial port 端，另一端接在 MSM9169 烧录板的 serial port 端。 4.3 将 DC power adapter(12V)插入 MSM9169 烧录板的 DC Power Jack (J2) 上。请注意 power adapter 接 MSM 9169 烧录板的电源端子是内为 DC 正极，外为 DC 负极。此时 MSM9169 上的”Power LED”会增亮。 4.4 当 MSM9169 板上的 “Power LED”亮着，则表示 MSM9169 有电源，即可进 行 IC 的烧录工作。 Specifications subject to change without notice, contact your sales representatives for the most recent information. 2 MSM9169 V7M1 06/09/19 SyncMOS Technologies International, Inc. MSM9169 Application Note September 2006 For SyncMOS e-MCU Used 6.工作列名词解释： 6.1 Load:载入您所要烧录的档案。 6.2 Save：储存 Buffer 里面的数据。 6.3 Edit：显示出从 Buffer 读出来的资料。 6.4 IC：选择所要烧录的 IC 型号。 6.5 AUTO：自动执行所选择之功能。 6.6 Erase：当点按 ERASE 时，MSM9169 只做清除 Target IC 数据内 容的动作。 6.7 Program：当点按 PROGRAM 时,烧录驱动程序会将 PC data buffer 中的数据烧录在 Target IC 里。 6.8 BLANK CHECK：当点按 BLANK CHECK 时，MSM9169 只做检查 Target IC 是否已有数据内容，不做其它动作。 6.9 VERIFY：确认 Target IC 的中的数据内容与 data buffer 的数 据内容是否相同。 6.10 Security：将 Target IC 的数据，加密保护，使其无法用”Read” 读出正确的 Code。 6.11 Configure：在 SM59XX 中用来设定 ISP 程序大小，在 Program 做完后会接着执行 Configure 功能。 6.12 Send：将所要烧录的数据写至 SM5964 (做 off-line 烧录前需 执行 ＂Send＂功能)。 Specifications subject to change without notice, contact your sales representatives for the most recent information. 4 MSM9169 V7M1 06/09/19 SyncMOS Technologies International, Inc. MSM9169 Application Note September 2006 For SyncMOS e-MCU Used 14. 烧录状态显示： 14.1 烧录成功时： 当按下 AUTO 键时，会依照您所选择所要执行的项目依序执行，当单一 步骤若执行完毕且烧录成功会以绿色字显示 PASS，且 MSM9169 编程器 主板上会显示绿色灯号，蜂鸣器会哔一短音。 14.2 烧录失败时： 但单一步骤若是烧录失败则会以红色字显示 FAIL，而且 MSM9169 编程 器主板上会显示红色灯号，蜂鸣器会哔一长音。 14.3 烧录时间显示： 当按下 AUTO 图块时，AUTO RUN START 显示开始烧录时间，AUTO RUN END 显示烧录完毕结束时间（若是单步执行时则不会显示烧录时间）。 Specifications subject to change without notice, contact your sales representatives for the most recent information. 19 MSM9169 V7M1 06/09/19 SyncMOS Technologies International, Inc. MSM9169 Application Note September 2006 For SyncMOS e-MCU Used 15.Send：(要做离线烧录(off-line) 烧录前需执行 ＂Send＂功能) MSM9169 可以做离线烧录的功能，此时您不需要连接计算机，就可做烧录动作。 15.1 在您选要所要烧录的 IC 型号与档案之后，在工作列上按下 send 图块。 15.2 此时计算机会将您加载的档案下载到 SM59264，下载当中 MSM9169 编 程器主板上的 busy 灯(黄色灯)会亮着， 下载完毕即显示绿色灯号 Good 并画面会以绿色字显示 Transmit Data to MCU => PASS，此时 BUSY 灯号即熄灭。 15.3 按下 MSM9169 编程器主板上的 AUTO 键即可离线烧录。 Specifications subject to change without notice, contact your sales representatives for the most recent information. 20 MSM9169 V7M1 06/09/19 SyncMOS Technologies International, Inc. MSM9169 Application Note September 2006 For SyncMOS e-MCU Used 18.注意事项: 18.1 MSM9169 烧录板上的电子组件不可随意更动，以免造成烧录板损坏。 18.2 若在 IC 烧录的过程中,发生窗口之烧录的程序停止不动时,请关闭整个 烧录作业窗口，按 MSM9169 编程器主板 Reset 键，并重新开启烧录窗 口。 18.3 将要烧录之 IC 放在编程器上时需注意放置 IC 的脚位是否正确，以免 造成 IC 损坏。 18.4 若烧录成功则在 MSM9169 操作窗口中会出现绿色的 PASS 且会(哔一短 音)，此时 GOOD LED 会亮，若烧录失败在 MSM9169 操作窗口中会出现 红色的 FAIL(哔一长音)，此时 FAIL LE 会亮。 18.5 目前尚还无法使 USB 转 Com Port 进行”Read”Function。 18.6 目前尚无法对 Buffer 进行编辑，只能储存成新的“.BIN”檔。 18.7 当更换新的 IC 型号时，请重新载入您要烧录的档案。 18.8 要更新新版的烧录程序时，若您之前已经有安装旧版的烧录程序，需 先将旧版的烧录程序移除掉，再安装新的烧录程序以完成更新动作。 Specifications subject to change without notice, contact your sales representatives for the most recent information. 25 MSM9169 V7M1 06/09/19
