3M BH Series ™ ASME Code Bag Housings 3M™ BH Series housings, for use with conventional bag filters or 3M DF Series filter elements, are available in single filter element configurations for either #1 or #2 filter sizes. The BH Series housings, offered in either side (Model 1BHS) or top entry (Model 1BST) flow paths, are constructed with carbon steel or 316L Stainless Steel. The BH Series also offers a choice of either flange (Model 1BHT) or NPT (Model 1BHS) inlet and outlet connections. All BH Series housings include either a bag filter or a 3M DF element 316 stainless steel filter support basket. The housings are rated to a maximum allowable working pressure of 150 psi @ 300°F and are manufactured and stamped to comply with the ASME code. Housing installation in new or existing systems is simplified by the band clamp legs which can accommodate up to a 12 inch adjustment in floor to outlet height. 3M™ BH Series Filter Housing Specifications Specification Material Material Gasket(s) Connection Size/Type Maximum Allowable Working Pressure Shipping Weight lbs (kg) Model 1 BHS Model 1 BHT Housing Size #1 #2 Carbon Steel & 316L SS Nitrile Standard 2" ANSI Flange or NPT 150 PSI @ 300°F (10.4 bar @ 149°C) 50 (23) 65 (30) 95 (43) 105 (48) Applications ■ Chemicals & Petrochemicals ■ Industrial Water Treatment ■ Food & Beverage ■ Healthcare ■ Industrial Processes ■ Paint & Coatings Graph 1: Flow vs. Differential Pressure 6.0 5.0 Features & Benefits Direct sealing of cover on bag filter (top entry model). ■ Keeps bag filters properly seated in baskets. ■ No fluid contamination above bag.
