Intersil’s highly integrated TW9984 4-channel analog video
decoder/encoder for around-view parking assist applications
provides improved safety for drivers and pedestrians. The
TW9984 is based on Intersil’s market leading video decoder
technology and replaces up to nine discrete components
with a single chip.
• Four NTSC/PAL analog video decoders and 10-bit ADCs with
differential, pseudo differential and single-ended inputs
• One analog video encoder to re-encode video to CVBS format

Next-Generation SoCs
The TW9992 is an analog video decoder which features an
integrated MIPI-CSI2 output interface that provides compatibility
with the newest SoC processors. The decoder’s MIPI-CSI2
interface simplifies design by making it easier to interface with
SoCs, while also lowering the system’s EMI profile. The TW9992
decoder takes both single-ended and differential composite
video inputs from a vehicle’s backup safety camera, and is the
latest addition to Intersil’s video decoder product family for
automotive applications.
• Software selectable analog input control
allows for combinations of single-ended or
differential CVBS
• Advanced image enhancement features:
automatic contrast adjustment, and
programmable hue, brightness, saturation,
contrast and sharpness
• Output voltage: 1.8V to 3.3V with 3.3V tolerance

Laser Diode Driver for Automotive
Head-Up Displays
Intersil’s highly integrated ISL78365 laser diode driver pulses four
high intensity lasers up to 750mA for projecting full-HD color video
onto the windshield. The device’s higher current and faster switching
speed enables head-up displays (HUDs) with high resolution, high
color-depth and high frame-rate projections.
The quad-channel ISL78365 is a complete solution for driving lasers
in the scanned-MEMS laser projection systems being deployed in
