Since the mirror joint may have a limited space for the harness, a mechatronic approach using a LIN-bus interface can be the most appropriate way to minimize wiring harness complexity. The L99MM70 is ST’s latest development supporting such a mechatronic approach and offers a flexible and scalable system solution when combined with an STM8A.
