The Trutnov, Czech Republic facility offers a repeatable manufacturing process which produces a 100% automatically inspected and electrically tested junction box. For quality control purposes, each junction jox is “laser etched” with a unique serial number. Our electrical test equipment has four independent heads to automatically test each connection rail and diode in the popular four rail junction box. Assembly equipment automatically verifies the production of the cable assemblies and attachment to the junction box. The true position of the contact in the mating coupler housing and proper torque of the screw nut are some of the critical process checks made to each unit. A vision system is incorporated into the junction box assembly equipment. Polarization and molded features are inspected by the same vision system to contribute to the production of a quality product and a repeatable manufacturing process.
