OX 5100 World Class Self-contained 100MHz digital oscilloscope From the laboratory into the field, keep the same tool, whether you carry it or set it down! • • • • • • • 2 channels with one converter per channel Sampling frequency: up to 5 Gsamp./s (ETS) Extra-wide backlit high-resolution 320 x 240 LCD screen Rechargeable batteries or external mains power supply Automatic measurements, cursors and arithmetical functions Integrated 4,000-count multimeter with bargraph Autoset function Division of Chauvin Arnoux OX 5100 : Self-contained 100MHz digital oscilloscope! The original ergonomics of the OX 5100 and its bag mean that you can keep both hands free when you use it on site. Incomparable readability Naturally, the dimensions of the LCD screen and its 320 x 240 point resolution offer excellent display quality. But you will also appreciate the backlighting which, because it is powerful and evenly distributed, ensures excellent visibility even when the lighting conditions are difficult. Look - no hands A clear keyboard Whether you work sitting down or standing up, the OX 5100 leaves your hands free! Indeed, when you place it on a table, it fits in harmoniously with a PC, while on site you will appreciate the ergonomics of the shoulder bag. As well as serving to store and protect it when you travel, it also allows you to view the curves without holding the instrument in your hand. To make the instrument easier to use, the keyboard has been split into several areas which are clearly identifiable for a user accustomed to traditional oscilloscopes: vertical deviation of channels 1 and 2; horizontal deviation; trigger modes, cursors, etc. The AUTOSET key is immediately recognizable. Also, apart from the configuration menus, all the functions can be accessed directly. In multimeter mode, the screen of the OX 5100 becomes a 4,000-point display with a bargraph. The functions available are clearly visible from a distance. An integrated multimeter The OX 5100 can be transformed into a 4,000-count multimeter by simply pressing a key. The choice of this mode then gives access to new functions such as measurement of DC and AC voltages and resistances, as well as diode and continuity testing The keyboard is divided into several clearly identifiable areas so that the user can quickly master the instrument's functionalities. PC screen with SX-METRO : display of the signal (CH1), its Fourrier transform and the cursor measurements (frequency and amplitude in V or in dB) Computer analysis or paper With its RS232 link, it is possible to connect the OX 5100 directly to a PC. The user then benefits from the powerful SX-METRO software: analysis of the curves, mathematical processing such as FFT, etc. A "HARD COPY" key confirms or stops the transfer of the data to a printer for direct output on paper. Nothing could be easier than choosing the parameters measured automatically and which will be displayed on the left-hand side of the screen. Explicit menus The "MENU" area contains the secondary functions or utilities. All you therefore have to do is select what you want and then confirm using the "ENTER" key. As on any computer, the "SHIFT" key can be used to access the secondary functions and the "ESC" key can be used to move up a level. Directly-accessible settings A large number of settings can be accessed directly: settings of the channels, time base, triggers, cursors, etc. The settings selected are constantly displayed at the top and bottom of the screen, outside the curve display area, so that they are easy to read.
