Similarly the corresponding sequence of the WIND key is Constant - Natural - Sleep - Constant, etc. The TIMER key will alter the time in circular sequence of 1h, 2h, 4h, 8h and 0 if the A/N pin is floating, or in 0.5h, 1h, 1.5h, ... , 7.5h if the A/ N pin connects to GND. The R/L and U/D keys can toggle the fan between swing and non-swing with the fan ON. Shown below are the detailed SPEED and WIND function diagrams. Functional Description PT8A986 has two ways to input control signals: through the keypad of the control panel or through the infrared ray receiving module. The signals control 6 types of operation: SPEED, WIND, TIMER, R/L, U/D and ON/OFF. When control signals are received, the control system produces a beep. When the fan is on and the ON/OFF signal is received, the control system beeps two times and turns off the power. Pushing the SPEED key will start the fan with Super-Soft Wind.
