Similarly the corresponding sequence of the WIND key is Constant - Natural - Sleep - Constant, etc. The TIMER key will alter the time in circular sequence: 1h, 2h, 4h, 8h and 0, non-summable. Or in 0.5h, 1h, 1.5h, ... , 7.5h, summable. The R/L key can toggle the fan between swinging and non-swing with the fan ON. Shown below are the detailed SPEED/OFF and WIND function diagrams. Functional Description PT8A983/984 have two ways to input control signals: through the keypad of the control panel or through the infrared ray receiving module. The signals control four types of operation: SPEED/OFF, WIND, TIMER, R/L. When control signals are received, the control system produces a beep. When OFF signal is received, the control system beeps two times before turning off the power. Pushing the “SPEED/OFF” key will start the fan with Soft Wind.
