Engineering Conditions of Acceptability
For use only in or with complete equipment where the acceptability of the combination is determined by UL
LLC. When installed in an end-product, consideration must be given to the following:
The end-product Electric Strength Test is to be based upon a maximum working voltage of: To be
evaluated in end product investigation
The following secondary output circuits are at non-hazardous energy levels: All outputs of all models
The power supply terminals and/or connectors are: Not investigated for field wiring
The investigated Pollution Degree is: 2
Proper bonding to the end-product main protective earthing termination is: Not required
An investigation of the protective bonding terminals has: Not been conducted
The following end-product enclosures are required: Mechanical, Fire, Electrical
The unit serves as Functional insulation only.
The input voltage of model: PDL06-XYAz1z1z1z1z1z1 (where "X" can be 48; "Y" can be S or D; "A"
can be 3P3, 05, 09, 12, 15 or 24; "z1" can be any alphanumeric or blank) exceed 60Vdc and the
secondary output circuits should be evaluated as "Special Application - TNV-2" or "HAZARDOUS
VOLTAGE" in end product.
The insulation system is not controlled and evaluated. It shall be considered when insulation system
would be required in end-product.
Client announced maximum rating of slow-blow fuse for series model as below: 3A for PDL0605SXX modules; 1.6A for PDL06-12SXX modules; 1A for PDL06-24SXX modules; 0.5A for PDL0648SXX modules. The unit was not tested on fuse protection circuit. It shall be evaluated in end
product investigation.
