The low profile (41mm) design makes RSP-1600 very suitable for the installation in an industrial facility with 1U by height or limited spacing. The entire series offers different models with the voltage frequently-used in industry, 12V/24V/27V/36V/48V, that can satisfy various applications (such as industrial control system, electro-mechanical equipments, burn-in facilities, and etc.) demanding high wattage. In addition, the built-in current sharing function allows the overall output power to be boosted by 6 times (9600W), meeting the usage requiring an even higher wattage. RSP-1600 accepts the full range input between 90VAC and 264VAC and is equipped with the built-in active PFC function. The working efficiency is up to 93% so it can deliver the full load under the 50℃ ambient temperature; with the proper derating it can further operate at 70℃. The overload protection provides constant current limiting, delayed shut down mode; it can thus work with various type of severe inductive or capacitive load. Moreover, with the externally additive 1~5VDC control signal, the output voltage or current can be adjusted widely to 40~115% of the nominal value. Other standard functions include remote sense, remote ON/OFF control, 12V/0.8A and 5V/0.3A auxiliary power, DC OK signal (via TTL) and over temperature alarm signal. (DA,DB and GND are connected mutually in parallel). (2)Difference of output voltages among parallel units should be less than 0.2V. (3)The total output current must not exceed the value determined by the following equation.
