CAUTION: Ensure board is correctly wired before applying power. DWG NO: SUP73799800 REV A PAGE 1 of 2 COMPATIBLE ION AEC PREAMPLIFIERS / CHAMBERS FOR AEC BOARD 737998-00: 4 CHANNEL ION Notes: (1) All preamplifiers must be configured for: • active low field select and reset/start signals • positive ramp output signal (2) Interface cables (AID# 75035-xx, Ion Chamber Cable, 9 pin D-Sub, M-F, Straight-thru, 1 to 1 pin-out, or similar) are required to interface directly to the above preamplifiers. (3) Due to mechanical interference, do not use right angle connectors to connect the preamplifiers to the 737998-00 AEC board. ION CHAMBER COMPATIBILITY NOTES (v) The following statements apply to the compatibility of the chambers to the preamps: • The Claymount Preamp SSMC 1001 is a direct replacement/equivalent for the Comet AG Preamp PA 101. • Both the above Preamps allow connection to either the Claymount SSMC 500 series Solid State Chambers or the Comet AG “Telamat” series Solid State Chambers.
