For supply connections use Cable with wire rated for at least 96ºC Thru Wiring Option (Figure 2) Installation Steps: • • For maximum long term reliability and light output, the light must be installed in free air. o The Linear fixture design incorporates an over-temperature control circuit that reduces input power should internal temperatures reach a maximum level. In this event, light output may be reduced. The Linear fixture is threaded for M25 , at the center and each end of the Power Supply Housing, in order to be assembled o Remove the center DUST cap from the fixture and dispose of. o Remove both factory installed Certified Plugs from the ends. o Place one of the Certified Plugs in to the previously removed Dust plug. o NOTE: Ensure gasket and torque is correct to ensure a watertight unit. o NOTE: Failure to do so will void all warranties and will cause premature failures. o Use conductive pipe sealant for all fittings that have been removed and/or replaced. o o o o o o Warning: If there is moisture present or chance of it than necessary precautions should be taken by the installer to prevent the moisture from entering thru the cable or other means entering the fixture. Failure to comply with the above could void factory warranties. Fixture is factory wired for both Pendant and Through wiring. Remove the Power Supply Covers to attach incoming power to the terminal block supplied inside the power supply compartment, follow the electrical connections. Repeat this procedure for the opposite end. Replace the power supply cover using the screws previously removed. Tighten all screws to 15 in/lbs (1.75NewtonM’s) NOTE: Ensure that the o-rings are properly seated in the grooves; reattach the Cover using the screws previously removed. Tighten all screws to 15 in/lbs (1.75NewtonM’s) Restore power and verify operation.
