UX 2016 1.25Gbps Transimpedance Amplifier with AGC Features General Description The UX2016 transimpedance amplifier provides a compact low-cost/power solution for 1.25Gbps Low cost, CMOS process 3.3/5V operation with 100/175mW low Power Consumption fiber optic communication application. Fabricated in an advance sub-micron CMOS process, wide 11KΩ(3.3V)/12.5KΩ(5V) typical differential gain with 50Ω termination dynamic range with AGC works up to 3dBm, 3.3/5V supply and consumes 100/175mW, all of 900MHz Bandwidth for 1.25Gbps these features make the UX2016 well suited for -27dBm typical optical sensitivity SDH/SONET fiber optic application, especially AGC works up to 3dBm with PWD <10% 750 X 1000um2 die size, available as die Differential output OC-24/STM-8. The UX2016 is available in die package form, 2 compact 750 x 1000um die area makes it easily assembly into a TO-can header with a photodiodes. The UX2016 is designed for combining with the UX2115 Limiting-Amplifier. When mounted with a suited PIN, the chip set forms a high performance receiver. Typical Application Circuit Figure1.
