Industrial Gigabit Media Converter
Supports 10/100/100 Copper and 100/1000 Fiber Connections
The SIXNET Gigabit Media Converter is extremely flexible, allowing you to speed up your fast 10 or 100Mb connections
to super fast 1000Mb links, or convert between copper and noise immune fiber optic links extending up 120+ km. This
advanced media converter utilizes SIXNET switch technology to ensure real-time deterministic performance with plug
and play simplicity. This rugged converter is ultra-reliable with over 1,000,000 hours Mean Time Between Failure
(MTBF) and protected by SIXNET’s 20-year support and service policy.
Fast or Gigabit Fiber Optic Ports
Auto-Sensing, Auto-Crossover & Auto-Polarity
All the RJ45 copper ports are truly plug and play and will
automatically sense the type of cable, cross-wired signals,
optimal connection speed and duplex. “No muss, no fuss!”
Each Gigabit port supports both 100Mb and 1000Mb fiber
connections just by inserting the desired fiber transceiver.
Multimode, Singlemode, CWDM, etc.
Industry standard SFP (Small Form
Pluggable) ports support many types of fiber
transceivers for just about any application.
Industrial
Packaging
This converter is ready
to snap on your DIN
rail or mount directly to
any convenient flat
surface. No optional
accessories required!
Auto-Media
Detection
Each Gigabit port
has both a
Gigabit RJ45
connector and a
SFP pluggable
fiber cage. The
converter will
auto-media
detect which one
you are using.
Ultra Reliability
Like all SIXNET
industrial Ethernet
switches, this
converter offers
over 1,000,000
hours Mean Time
Between Failure
(MTBF) based on
real-world data.
Dual Power Inputs
Just connect a secondary power
source and you have redundant power
protection. Direct 10-30 VDC power!
