MOTOROLA SEMICONDUCTOR TECHNICAL DATA Low Impedance Driver MC100LVEL12 The MC100LVEL12 is a low impedance drive buffer. With two pairs of OR/NOR outputs the device is ideally suited for high drive applications such as memory addressing. The device is a function equivalent to the EL12 device and operates from a low voltage power supply. With propagation delays equivalent to the EL12, the LVEL12 is ideally suited for those applications which require the ultimate in AC performance in a low voltage environment. • • • • 445ps Propagation Delay Dual Outputs for 25Ω Drive Applications D SUFFIX 8–LEAD PLASTIC SOIC PACKAGE CASE 751–05 75kΩ Internal Input Pulldown Resistors >2000V ESD Protection LOGIC DIAGRAM AND PINOUT ASSIGNMENT Qa 1 VCC 8 PIN DESCRIPTION Qb 2 7 D0 Qa 3 6 D1 Qb 4 5 VEE PIN FUNCTION D0, D1 Qa, Qb Data Inputs Data Outputs DC CHARACTERISTICS (VEE = VEE(min) to VEE(max); VCC = GND) –40°C Symbol Characteristic IEE Power Supply Current VEE Power Supply Voltage IIH Input HIGH Current Min 0°C Typ Max 17 24 –3.0 –3.8 Min 25°C Typ Max 17 24 –3.0 –3.8 150 Min 85°C Typ Max 17 24 –3.0 –3.8 150 Min Typ Max Unit 18 25 mA –3.8 V 150 µA Max Unit 590 ps 550 ps –3.0 150 AC CHARACTERISTICS (VEE = VEE(min) to VEE(max); VCC = GND) –40°C Symbol Characteristic Min tPLH tPHL Propagation Delay to Output 310 tr tf Output Rise/Fall Times Q (20% – 80%) 230 Typ 400 0°C Max Min 580 310 550 230 Typ 400 25°C Max Min Typ Max Min 580 310 445 580 320 550 230 400 550 230 6/97 Motorola, Inc. 1997 3–1 85°C REV 0 Typ 400 MC100LVEL12 OUTLINE DIMENSIONS D SUFFIX PLASTIC SOIC PACKAGE CASE 751–05 ISSUE S D A NOTES: 1.
