The device transmits data from the A bus to the B bus or from the B bus to the A bus depending upon the logic level at the direction control (DIR) input. The output enable (OE) input disables the device so the buses are effectively isolated. 25Ω OCTAL BIDIRECTIONAL TRANSCEIVER WITH 3–STATE INPUTS AND OUTPUTS Both A and B outputs can sink up to 12mA; 25Ω resistors are included in the lower output circuit to reduce overshoot and undershoot.
