Th he new CGA A6 and CGA A9 series off MLCCs, which w have a rated volta age of 1000 0 V, feature types with capacitance es ranging from 1 nF to o 33 nF, thee world's wiidest e*. The MLCCs are av range vailable with h both C0G and NP0 te emperature characteris stics. They thus feature a te emperature coefficient of 0 ±30 pp pm/°C max. and tempeerature rang ges of -55 °°C to +125 °C ° and -55 °C to +150 °C, respectively. As a result, theirr capacitanc ce drift over temperaturre is negligible. Moreovver, the new w capacitors s exhibit neaarly no driftt over volta age and time e, making th hem suitablle for applic cations where high cappacitance stability of the ccomponentss is essentia al. The CGA A6 and CGA A9 MLCCs measure inn with footprrints of 3.2 m mm x 2.5 mm (EIA 1210) and 5.7 mm x 5.0 mm m (EIA 222 20), respect ctively. Mass s production bega an in March 2016. Not o only do the new MLCC Cs deliver an n extremely y constant capacitance under all conditions, their AC energyy losses and d heat gene eration are also a extreme ely low. Theey are suite ed for use in the e wireless charging c units, DC-DC converters and onboa ard chargerss in electric and plugin hyybrid vehicle es, and whe erever space a high performance aare required d. e savings and ause the new products are qualifie ed according to AEC-Q Q200 they a re suitable for use in Beca the e engine comp partments of o automobiiles and oth her automotive applicattions. Moreo over, the MLC CCs can be used in various other ttypes of circ cuits in industrial equippment where e high reliab bility is esse ential, for ex xample in ti mer circuits s, filter circu uits, resonannce and oscillation circu uits, and snu ubber circuits. of March 2016 6, according to o TDK data * As o ----ns Main application • • • • ging units Wireless charg C-DC converrters DC On nboard charg gers for electtric and plug--in hybrid veh hicles Hig gh reliability applications in industrial equipment such s as timer circuits, filteer circuits, re esonance and oscillation circuits, and d snubber circcuits TDK C Corporation 1/ 2 Main features an nd benefits orld's widest capacitance e range of 1 n nF to 33 nF for f high-volta age automotiive MLCCs • Wo • Ra ated voltage of 1000 V • C0 0G and NP0 temperature characteristtics with a temperature co oefficient 0 ±±30 ppm/°C max. m and tem mperature ra anges of -55 °C to +125 °°C and -55 °C C to +150 °C C, respectivelly data Key d Serie es CGA6 6 (EIA 1210)) CGA9 9 (EIA 2220)) Dimens sions [mm] 3.2 x 2.5 5.7 x 5.0 T Temperature e c characteristtics C C0G* C C0G* / NP0*** Rated d voltage [V] 1000 Rated capa acitance [nF] 1 to 22 10 to 33 * C0G G: Temperaturre coefficient 0 ±30 ppm/°C max.;-55 °C to t +125 °C ** NP0 0: Temperaturre coefficient 0 ±30 ppm/°C max.;-55 °C to t +150 °C ----ut TDK Corp poration Abou TDK Corporation is a leading electronics ccompany bas sed in Tokyo o, Japan.
