RAN-7100 Remote Alphanumeric Annunciator Description The Gamewell-FCI, Remote Alphanumeric Annunciator (RAN-7100) display is a remote annunciator. This adaptable remote display can be used for installations in the following modular systems. • E3 Series® Expandable Emergency Evacuation System • S3 Series Small Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel • 7100 Series System It features an 80-character display which duplicates all the information on the main display with the exception of the menus. The 7100, E3 Series, and S3 Series control panels can accommodate up to five remote RAN-7100 annunciators. In addition, the RAN-7100 can be surface or flushmounted in the RAN-7100 backbox and installed 3,000 feet (914.4 m) away from the main control panel. The RAN7100 is also a retrofit solution for the Gamewell Legacy RAN-7100 annunciators. This feature offers you the option to use the RAN-7100 to upgrade to a 7100, an E3 Series or an S3 Series System. The RAN-7100 contains the following function keys • Alarm Acknowledge • System Reset/Lamp Test • Trouble Acknowledge • System Drill Test • Signal Silence A keylock must be placed in the “ON” position to enable the function keys with the exception of the “Trouble Acknowledge” key which is used to silence the trouble sounder on the RAN-7100. The LEDs on the RAN-7100 are listed as follows: • Alarm • System Silenced • Supervisory • NAC #1 Silenced • System Trouble • NAC #2 Silenced • Power Fault Installation The RAN-7100 can be surface or flush-mounted on a standard four-gang electrical box and installed up to 3,000 feet (914.4 m) away from the main control panel.
