The housing, the load bar, the wire separator, and the optional strain relief. 4 If the optional strain relief is to be installed, slide it onto the cable now. 5 Insert the orange and brown pairs into the wire separator. Page 1 of 2 Slide the wire separator to the end of the cable jacket. The green and blue pairs should be in the center grooves on opposite sides from one another. Place orange on the left and brown on the right. 6 Untwist the wires back to the wire separator. MN390010-A2 7 8 The proper order for the wires is shown. It may be necessary to add a half-twist to a pair to get the correct alignment. The twists must be as tight as possible. Trim off the wire ends at an angle to facilitate loading the wires into the load bar. 10 Slide the load bar down until it touches the wire separator. Trim off the excess wire in front of the load bar. It is acceptable to leave a small amount of wire showing. Terminate the plug in a standard unshielded plug crimp tool. FOR A PLUG WITH OPTIONAL STRAIN RELIEF: Insert the assembly into the housing. Slide the strain relief up flush with the rear of the housing. Terminate the plug in a standard unshielded plug crimp tool. MN390010-A2
