Output filtering capacitor C1 is a ceramic type, it is used to suppress high frequency noise. C2 is an
electrolytic capacitor. It is recommended to use high frequency and low impedance electrolytic capacitors.
For capacitance and current of capacitor please refer to datasheet. Voltage derating of capacitor should be
80 % or above. TVS D1 is a recommended component to protect post circuits (if converter fails).
The Varistor R2 protect the device under surge.
Recommended fuse parameter for F1 is a 2 A / 250 V “time delay” type. External input resistors Rs limited
the inrush current. (see figure 1 and table)
If common requirement to EMC performance (EN55011 Class A), refer to figure 1. If higher requirement to
EMC performance (EN55011 Class B), refer to figure 2.
