Absorb lightning surges in power lines to protect electrical equipment
Gas arrestors are discharge tube type devices designed to counter the effects of lightning surges. We are the only company
in the industry offering a full lineup for applications ranging from power line to signal line lightning surge protection.
Varistors are variable resistors whose resistance changes drastically when a voltage above a certain threshold is applied.
The higher the voltage, the lower the resistance becomes. By connecting such a component in parallel with an electronic
circuit, a shorting path is created that becomes active when excessive voltage is present, thereby protecting the equipment.
